Toys

Conway's classic: a cell lives or dies depending on how many neighbors it has. It starts from random noise, on a grid whose edges wrap around.
Here cells aren't just alive or dead: each one holds a value. Every step mixes a cell with its neighbors and passes the result through a smooth curve, a bit like a tiny neural network, and soft blobs grow out of it.
The same idea with a different neighbor mix, starting from a single lit cell. It grows into a symmetric pattern. Click anywhere to plant more cells.
